The Raptors are dying a slow death as another game leads to another loss.  Dirk had 24 and 10 to lead the Mavs to a win to the Raps.  Jason Kidd dished out his 10,000th assist last night and is on his way towards Magic Johnson (10,141) on the all-time assists list.  As for the Raptors, they were in this one until midway into the third quarter as they were eventually outscored 30-22 in the third quarter and Raps never got back into it after that.  In his Texas homecoming, Chris Bosh led the Raptors with 28 pts, 10 rebounds but the Raps were without Shawn Marion (who played only 5 minutes) due to flu-like symptoms.

Key Notes:

  • Jay Triano got some fire into him as he smashed his clipboard in frustration
  • J-Kidd had 9 pts, 10,000 assists and 6 rebounds
  • James Singleton had 12 pts and 16 rebounds off of the bench for the Mavs
  • JJ Barea lost a piece of his tooth after colliding with Jose Calderon
  • Andrea Bargnani had 18 pts and 7 boards but he also got it done with the D with 2 steals and 4 swats

The Raptors play the Rockets on Tuesday night.
